Are you feeling alone and stressed taking care of a loved one?
Would it be helpful to have a safe and confidential place to discuss your concerns and feelings related to being a caregiver?
Would support, encouragement and connection to community resources help you in your role as caregiver?
A Local Caregiver Support Group, co-sponsored by Brattleboro Area Hospice and Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, 1-2:30pm at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (*see note below).
Whether you are caring for a loved one full-time or part-time, please join us at our next Caregiver Support Group. You will be able to connect with others who are currently caring for loved ones (including long-distance) or perhaps are beginning to prepare for the responsibilities of care.
The small, informal group meets regularly the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
Ryan Murphy Hospice Care Coordinator, facilitates the group. If you have any questions, please contact Ryan Murphy at (802) 257-0775 ext. 106, otherwise you can join our meeting anytime–we hope to see you there!
*Note: The group meets at BMH in Conference Room B off the cafeteria on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and the Tyler Conference Room on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
