Friends of Hospice in Northern Windham County

life is shortOn July 14, Brattleboro Area Hospice (BAH) will host a meeting of friends, supporters and others interested in hospice and bereavement volunteer programs at the Rockingham Free Public Library.

The evening will include a brief presentation to include what we/BAH heard from local people when we surveyed them last year, an overview of programming that we’ve implemented and attempted to implement to date, along with some of what we’ve done in other areas that seems to be working.

This brief overview will be followed by a discussion to brainstorm what might be meaningful and useful to the local community.   We could use your help to tailor our services to meet the needs of the Greater Falls Region.  In addition, we have some exciting programs in the planning stages that we’d love to tell you about.

We hope that participants will help us to spread the word about our upcoming Hospice Care Training that will take place in Bellows Falls in September, as well as other programs that we have planned.

We will provide a light dinner to start things off.  Please RSVP to Brattleboro Area Hospice so we can plan accordingly.  We now have a Bellows Falls local number to make calling us accessible!  Call us at 802-460-1142 or at our Brattleboro number 802-257-0775.  For questions ask for Andrea at extension 109 or e-mail her at andrea.livermore@brattleborohospice.org.
