Community Outreach & Education

Brattleboro Area Hospice is a community resource on issues of death, dying and grieving. We provide free training and education, a lending library that is open to the public, as well as speakers and other supportive resources to help respond to the needs of anyone in the area who might benefit from our services – agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals.

Our twenty-four hour hospice care training and twenty-hour bereavement training is open to the community. We also provide various classes and workshops throughout the year and continuing education to hospice care volunteers through in-service trainings. Volunteer team trainings and specialized individual volunteer instruction is offered on an as-needed basis.
