Bereavement and Advance Care Planning Training Opportunities at Brattleboro Area Hospice
There’s still room in our Bereavement Care and Advance Care Planning volunteer trainings this spring. The Bereavement Care Training will run for eight weeks on Mondays from April 1 – May 13 from 5 – 8 PM. The Advance Care Planning Training will be in April. All trainings will be held at the Hospice office at 191 Canal Street in Brattleboro.
Bereavement Volunteers are available as a support to people who have had any kind of a death loss. Advance Care Planning volunteers assist community members in completing and registering their advance care documents. Advance Care Planning ensures that your loved ones and health professionals know what you want in a medical emergency when you are unable to speak for yourself. Brattleboro Area Hospice serves people in Windham County and all services are free of charge.
Enrollment in trainings requires both the completion of an application and an interview, and contribution of $40.00 toward materials is requested.
