How to play “The Hospice Amazing Hunt”
Introduction:
Thank you for participating in the first Hospice Amazing Hunt.
The fee to participate is $200 per team and we encourage teams of two to four players. Exceptions can be made for families. Funds can be raised through sponsorship from friends and family. AND please, you do not need to stop at $200, all you raise benefits Brattleboro Area Hospice.
The Hospice Amazing Hunt takes place on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Registration for the Hunt is 12:30 to 1:15pm at the River Garden Marketplace. At registration, all teams will be given a list of items/tasks to complete. Teams will need the following items: a phone to take pictures, pocket change (at least a dollar in change) and a minimum of $5 in cash. The Hunt starts at 1pm sharp and ends at the River Garden at 3pm. The tally of points begins at 3pm.
A wrap-up celebration will follow with food, a cash bar and the awarding of prizes. Prizes will be awarded to the three teams with the most points.
Rules:
- Number one rule is “Have Fun!”
- Groups must stay together.
- Team identifiers will be provided and required. In addition, if you would like to wear your group or business brand, feel free.
- All team members must be in photos when the Hunt item mentions a photo needed.
- Be respectful of the businesses that are participating, they are conducting business.
- The Hunt must be done on foot.
- Wear comfortable shoes; all locations are within walking distance of the Marketplace.
- Consider asking bystanders to take photos of teams at various locations.
