05 Jun Zeke 7/24/2012-4/22/2022
Zeke was a stunning “Gentle Giant” who was a German Shepherd with some Border Collie mixed in for fun. He rescued me in July of 2017 from the Monadnock Humane Society.
He LOVED tennis balls and I’m still finding them in the yard. He was gentle and sweet with all other living creatures – human, canine, and feline. When someone drove up the driveway he was sure they were there to see him, and of course to throw a tennis ball. His wolf-like looks and deep bark kept many “burglars” away. He wasn’t allowed on the couch, but as you can see, that didn’t last long! He loved to spend time in the yard with me or sit on our porch. He always greeted me at the door enthusiastically and insisted that I throw a tennis ball out into the yard at least twice before I could go into the house.
It was a blessing to have him in my life and he is greatly missed. R.I.P “Zekester.”
