Advance Care Planning Coordinator, 8 hours per week
Brattleboro Area Hospice is an independent community organization and one of a handful of volunteer hospices left in the United States. We support community members who are seriously ill, dying and grieving. We were founded on the belief that no one should die alone, and are committed to the principle of local control.
We are seeking an Advance Care Planning Coordinator (8 hours per week, flexible schedule) to help community members, and assign trained volunteers, to complete their advance care documents.
It is an excellent part-time job for someone who has family responsibilities or is retired, doing work that will directly help your community. We are a collaborative, supportive workplace that offers autonomy and flexibility for employees.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience and/or aptitude in advance care planning
- Experience and/or aptitude for managing volunteers
- Experience and/or aptitude for speaking to small groups and the public about ACP
- Ability to independently yet also commit to being part of a team in the delivery of services
- Detail oriented, comfortable and adaptable with digital programs
- Physically able to travel between client locations via personal vehicle
Brattleboro Area Hospice offers a flexible schedule, prorated paid vacation, health and holiday time off and dental insurance. The pay range for this position is $22 – 24 per hour based on education and experience.
