2023 Brattleboro Area Hospice Program Highlights
 

91 Hospice Care clients, an increase of 32% over 2022, received 2,344 hours of volunteer visits.

41 Bereavement clients received 371 hours of one-on-one peer support.

30 people attended grief support groups.

20 people were part of caregiver support groups.

45 completed their advance directives.

17 Hospice and Bereavement Clients received 215 hours of spiritual support.

118 people borrowed equipment from our used-equipment shed.

17 people trained to become a BAH volunteer.

92 people were active program volunteers.

15 volunteers provided 60 hours of coverage each week at Experienced Goods.

164 people attended 16 community outreach events (Kitchen Table Conversations, Death Cafes, etc. about green burials, Act 39, and other topics).
