Brattleboro Area Hospice is a beloved community resource that provides solace and support to our neighbors, friends and family as they suffer through illness, death, and grieving.
We are seeking a part-time Development & Communications Director to develop and implement the fundraising and communication goals of the organization.

This is an excellent part-time job for someone who has family responsibilities or is semi retired, doing work that will directly help your community. We offer autonomy and flexibility for employees, including periodic working from home and adjustable work hours each week.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An outgoing personality that connects with donors and the community and represents the our mission and services well in public
- Demonstrated experience as an effective fundraiser and communicator
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, presentation, written, and listening skills
- Digital and social media literacy and competence
- Is self motivated and works well independently as well as in a team
- Shows initiative, creativity, and good judgment
Brattleboro Area Hospice offers prorated paid vacation, health and holiday time off, dental and short/long term disability insurance. The salary range for this part-time position is $35,000 – $40,000 annually based on experience.
