Donate to this year’s auction and support our work!

Brattleboro Area Hospice is once again holding an online auction.  Everyone was so generous in 2021, donating items for auction as well as bidding during the event, that BAH decided to do it again on June 5th.  Last time you helped us raise approximately $25,000.  Let’s see if we can beat that total this year!

We hear from Experienced Goods Thrift Store donors and Brattleboro Area Hospice (BAH) supporters that occasionally they have items that they would like to donate but worry that they might not bring their true value if sold through Experienced Goods.  Well, now is the time to share those precious valuables.  Give us a call, send an email and let us know what you are interested in donating.

BAH is looking for high-quality pieces of furniture, vintage clothing (especially that old beloved denim jacket), jewelry, pop culture items, designer/luxury china and porcelain, and art for its upcoming online auction. For instance:

  • the ring or necklace that you inherited but is not to your taste
  • the antique desk that doesn’t quite fit in your more contemporary home
  • the crystal that you got as a wedding gift and have never taken out of the box
  • a painting, drawing or handcrafted item from a well-known artist or craftsperson

All might be the perfect donation to make to the auction in support of BAH.  Contact Ellen Smith at ellen.smith@brattleborohospice.org if you have an item you’d like to discuss donating.

Below are some of the wonderful donations that were sold at our last online auction, which included art, furniture, jewelry, fine crafts, vacation stays…and much more!
