Join us to discuss Roz Chast’s award winning memoir

If you had the pleasure of hearing Roz Chast speak last month in Brattleboro, you’ll know her work is a beautiful combination of humor and uncomfortable truths. Join us on Monday, September 24, 5:30 p.m. to discuss her incredible graphic memoir “Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?” at the Rockingham Free Public Library, 65 Westminster St., Bellows Falls.
The genre of graphic memoirs has flourished in recent years. The book features her parents in their final years and highlights the literary value and artistic merit in this growing medium.
The discussion will be led by local author Deborah Lee Luskin, and books are available from the Rockingham Library in advance of the evening. This event is a Vermont Humanities Council’s Reading & Discussion event hosted by Rockingham Library and Brattleboro Area Hospice. It is free, open to the public, and accessible to people with disabilities. For more information contact the library at programming@rockinghamlibrary.org or (802) 463-4270.
