We invite everyone whose life has been affected by substance misuse to come to share photos, mementos, and stories at a “Voices of Hope” Memorial Service honoring “National Opioid Overdose Day” to be held August 31, 2021, 6pm at the West Dover Congregational church, 104 Rt. 100 West Dover, VT.
We will remember those effected by substance misuse with the ringing of a meditation bell, readings, speakers, and a candle ritual. There will also be light refreshments outside after the service (dependent on Covid restrictions).
There will be grief support available from Brattleboro Area Hospice.
Voices of Hope’s mission is to inspire HOPE and actively support people affected by substance use/misuse. We advocate to increase local resources and raise awareness about substance use/misuse and the importance of COMPASSION in the Deerfield Valley. Our vision is to create a community that fosters connection, acceptance, creativity, recreation, health and safety.
